Shipping & Pickup Policy

Liquidation Prime Marketplace

1. Shipping Options

Inventory purchased through the Liquidation Prime Platform may be fulfilled through one of the following methods:

  1. Warehouse Pickup — where Inventory has been delivered to a Liquidation Prime warehouse and is available for collection.

  2. Platform Shipping — where Inventory is shipped to the Buyer through Liquidation Prime’s approved logistics partners.

  3. Seller-Arranged Shipping — where the Seller arranges shipment of the Inventory directly to the Buyer.

The available fulfillment method will be clearly indicated on the listing page before a Buyer places a bid.

Buyers and Sellers are not permitted to independently arrange shipping or pickup outside of the Platform unless the listing specifically states that the shipment will be arranged by the Seller.

All logistics are coordinated through the Platform or through the Seller when Seller-Arranged Shipping is specified.

2. Platform Shipping (Direct Delivery)

For listings where shipping is available directly through the Platform:

  • Shipping rates are automatically calculated and displayed before the Buyer places a bid.

  • The shipping cost is calculated based on the Buyer’s delivery address stored in their account profile.

The shipping rate displayed during bidding is an estimated rate only.

Shipping estimates are generated using the lowest available carrier rate at the time the bid is placed and may change due to carrier availability, routing, fuel surcharges, or other logistics factors.

As a result, the final shipping cost may differ from the estimated rate shown during bidding.

Once an Order is Paid, shipment is facilitated through third-party logistics providers integrated into the Platform.

Buyers cannot select their own carrier or arrange independent pickup for Orders fulfilled through Platform Shipping.

2.1 Role of Liquidation Prime in Logistics

Liquidation Prime does not act as a carrier, freight forwarder, logistics provider, or warehouse operator for legal purposes.

All shipping and transportation services are performed by independent third-party carriers and logistics providers, which may be accessed through integrations available on the Platform (including third-party freight marketplaces and APIs).

Liquidation Prime’s role is limited to facilitating access to such third-party logistics services and providing a technical interface for shipment coordination.

The contract of carriage is formed directly between the Buyer (or Seller, where applicable) and the selected carrier or logistics provider.

Liquidation Prime is not a party to any shipping or transportation agreement and does not assume responsibility for the performance of any carrier, including but not limited to:

- delays

- loss or damage in transit

- service failures

- delivery issues

Any claims related to shipping must be directed to the applicable carrier or logistics provider in accordance with their terms.

Third-Party Logistics Integrations

The Platform may integrate with third-party logistics marketplaces and APIs to provide shipping estimates and facilitate shipment booking.

Such integrations are provided for convenience only. All shipping services remain subject to the terms and conditions of the selected third-party provider and carrier.

2.2 Shipping Estimates and Final Charges

Shipping rates displayed on the Platform are estimates only and are subject to change.

If the final shipping cost differs materially from the estimated rate, the Buyer will be notified prior to shipment and may be required to approve the updated shipping cost before shipment is arranged.

3. Seller-Arranged Shipping

For listings where the Seller is responsible for shipping:

The Seller will arrange shipment of the Inventory directly to the Buyer after payment is received.

Shipping costs may be included in the listing price or calculated during checkout depending on the listing details.

The Seller is responsible for coordinating shipment and providing any available tracking information to the Buyer.

4. Payment Deadline

All Orders must be fully paid no later than Saturday of the same week as the auction, by 5:00 PM.

This requirement applies to:

  • Warehouse Pickup Orders

  • Platform Shipping Orders

  • Seller-Arranged Shipping Orders

Failure to complete payment by this deadline may result in:

  • automatic cancellation of the Order

  • a 10% penalty fee based on the total Order value

  • potential account restrictions at Liquidation Prime’s discretion.

5. Warehouse Pickup

Where Inventory has been delivered to a Liquidation Prime warehouse, Buyers may collect their Order through self pickup.

Warehouse pickup is available during the following hours:

  • Thursday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Buyers may call Liquidation Prime to reserve a pickup appointment.

If an appointment is reserved, the Buyer must arrive and collect the Order at the scheduled time assigned to them.

Buyers may also arrive without an appointment, in which case pickups will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

All Orders must be paid for and picked up no later than Saturday of the same week as the auction, by 5:00 PM.

Abandoned Inventory

If an Order has been paid but not collected by the pickup deadline, the Inventory will be considered abandoned inventory.

Liquidation Prime may charge storage fees of $50 per pallet per day starting from the first business day after the pickup deadline.

If the Inventory remains uncollected before the start of the following auction, Liquidation Prime reserves the right to relist, resell, or otherwise dispose of the Inventory at its sole discretion, without further liability.

Buyers are responsible for:

  • bringing appropriate transportation

  • ensuring capacity for palletized freight

  • loading and securing their shipment

Liquidation Prime is not responsible for loading delays caused by warehouse traffic or other Buyers.

Liquidation Prime reserves the right to refuse pickup if safety or operational requirements are not met.

6. Delivery Address

Shipping rates are calculated based on the Buyer’s default delivery address stored in their account.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address is accurate before placing a bid.

Additional carrier services may be required depending on the delivery location, including:

  • liftgate service

  • residential delivery

  • limited access locations

Any additional carrier fees associated with such services are the responsibility of the Buyer.

For full truckload (FTL) deliveries, the delivery location must have a loading dock or forklift available.

7. Fulfillment Time

After payment is received, Liquidation Prime or the Seller will prepare the Order for shipment.

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment, though fulfillment time may vary depending on warehouse location, inventory type, and carrier availability.

Fulfillment times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

7.1 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to the Buyer upon the earlier of:

(a) release of the Inventory to the carrier, or

(b) pickup of the Inventory by the Buyer or the Buyer’s agent.

Once the Inventory has been released to a carrier, all responsibility for transportation is borne by the carrier, and the Buyer assumes all risks associated with transit.

8. Delivery Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for unloading all shipments upon arrival.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • drivers are not responsible for unloading freight

  • Buyers must unload deliveries within a reasonable time period

Failure to unload shipments in a timely manner may result in additional carrier fees.

Buyers are responsible for any additional delivery costs related to:

  • missed delivery appointments

  • scheduling delays

  • incorrect delivery information

  • special delivery requirements

9. Inspection Upon Delivery

Buyers are strongly advised to inspect the condition of pallets and shrink wrap before accepting delivery.

If visible damage is present, Buyers should:

  • take photos of the shipment before unloading

  • note any issues on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing

Failure to document damage at the time of delivery may limit the ability to file a claim with the carrier.

10. Tracking

Once a shipment is dispatched, the Buyer will receive shipment confirmation and tracking information through the Platform or via email notification.

11. Platform Control of Logistics

All logistics for transactions conducted through the Liquidation Prime Platform must be coordinated through the Platform.

Buyers and Sellers may not bypass the Platform to arrange logistics independently unless the listing specifically indicates Seller-Arranged Shipping.

Violation of this policy may result in:

  • cancellation of the Order

  • administrative fees

  • suspension or termination of the account at Liquidation Prime’s sole discretion.

Such coordination does not make Liquidation Prime a carrier or logistics provider.
